In November last year, GPC Electronics reached a milestone with shipment to Technicolor of the 3,000,000th T1000 telephone. This range of Technicolor corded phones is available exclusively from Telstra Australia, largely through its rental telephone program.
The T1000 telephone was designed in Australia by Technicolor. GPC has a long history with Technicolor and is proud to continue to manufacture the phone at our Penrith factory.
To commemorate the occasion, GPC held a special event in May 2016 for all of its Penrith staff where a presentation was made to Mr Brett Watts, Telstra Key Account Director for Technicolor.
